With International Women’s Day just around the corner on March 8th, we sat down with the women of Katapult to get their take on what makes this place tick. Here’s a little look into our world, in their own words.
What Makes Us Feel Empowered?
Feeling empowered at Katapult comes from knowing that purpose and values genuinely sit at the heart of what we do. Having the autonomy to make decisions aligned with those values, alongside the trust and backing of an incredible team and industry partners, creates an environment where ideas can grow and meaningful impact can happen.
This sentiment was shared by our talented team.

I feel that my voice is more than just heard; it’s important. I feel that my words can have real meaning and action rather than having to put my energy into being heard; I can put it into what actually matters.
Lily-Ann Bedder

Knowing I'm part of such a unique and forward thinking company. Our lives as a whole are taken into account, and we are not just seen as an employee who comes in and does a job. I know that if life outside of work becomes difficult, I am supported and listened to with compassion and care.
Cara Clark

Everyone is kind and supportive.
Jasmine Fan

I feel empowered by the talented women I get to work with everyday. Their brilliance, encouragement, and passion motivates me to grow.

Moments That Make Us Proud
Creating a company that is truly purpose - and values-driven makes us proud, while building strong, lasting relationships across the industry. This includes supporting and celebrating our team who have achieved so much in their role and in our industry.

My proudest achievement at Katapult is seeing projects I contributed to come to life. As a concept designer, being part of the journey from early ideas to final execution is incredibly rewarding.
Julia Bilenko

Being rated a top 10% manager worldwide by Workleap, in recognition of our Producer team's engagement scores.
Cathrin Winsor

The personal development overall, joining Katapult as someone completely new this industry, learning and developing so much within the team and carving out a role that suits me well.
Alice Young

It's that moment when a project just clicks. You can feel it, and the team can feel it too. After hours of creative discussion, suddenly everything lines up. Those shared breakthrough moments are what I'm most proud of.

Why We #GiveToGain
This year's theme for International Women's Day is #GiveToGain, to celebrate and encourage a mindset of generosity and collaboration. We asked our team to consider how Katapult embraces the theme.

At Katapult, we #GivetoGain by leading with generosity — sharing knowledge, opening doors, championing others, and creating opportunities for people to grow. When we invest in our people, our partners, and our wider community, we strengthen the whole ecosystem. By supporting others to succeed, we build trust, collaboration, and long-term impact — and that’s where real growth happens.
Dawn Foote

I believe Katapult's core values are just a perfect reflection of #GivetoGain being a natural pose for everyone working at Katapult, no matter whether they are men or women. Katapult always encourages a mindset of generosity and collaboration.
Cathy Liang

At Katapult we have a culture in which we expect our team to have lives outside of the working hours, and sometimes within (such as school, nursery pick-ups, doctors appointments etc.) This flexible attitude and approach is a gamechanger, and not always a given within organisations, creating an incredibly positive and motivating team attitude.
Rhianna McGoningal

I believe we give to gain by investing in one another. When we take the time to nurture and support someone, we help them grow into their best selves. In turn, that growth strengthens our team, our company and our society. I believe giving means genuinely supporting and uplifting others. When people feel seen, valued and emotionally supported, they thrive - and when they thrive, we all benefit.

To the Women of Katapult (and Beyond!)
'Who do you hope to inspire?' was our final question to our team and their answers were both powerful and heartwarming.

I hope to inspire anyone who's striving to find their work life happiness. Many women have a tendency to undervalue themselves, so I hope I can inspire women to find pride in what they do.
Amelia Maresca

I hope the experiences we design will inspire people to connect with one another.
Cathrin Winsor

I hope to inspire mums who have taken a big gap in their career to have children, to know that you can and will regain yourself again. Although under a new and improved identity, whilst still being able to be a mum who is present for their children and able to pick back up your career.
Cara Clark

First and foremost, my daughter. She’s 10, and I hope to be a positive role model for her — showing her that she can be courageous, kind, values-led and ambitious all at once. I want her to grow up believing that she can pursue work she loves, stand up for what matters, and make a meaningful difference in the world.

Happy International Women's Day from all of us!
