Five theme park design projects (we can talk about)

We love working on theme park design projects. Although we can’t talk about EVERY project we have done, due to confidentiality, we can show you these five example projects.

1. LEGOLAND® PARKS

NEW PARK EXPERIENCE

As part of The LEGO® Group global Rebuild the World campaign, we worked with 8 of Merlin Entertainments, LEGOLAND® Parks worldwide to introduce guests to an amazing new brand activation, ‘PLANET LEGOLAND’, an experience in which guests can build, unbuild and rebuild the theme park of their dreams. This is a build experience for children and parents, unlocking creative potential by getting guests creative with a hands-on brick experience. Read more.

2. EMERAL PARK

IMMERSIVE QUEUE LINE

We were delighted to be appointed by Ireland’s top theme park, Tayto Park, to re-energise their queue line experience for their popular log flume ride, Viking Voyage At The Park. The Viking-inspired ride had already helped the park achieve a substantial increase in visitors since it’s opening in 2017, and the Tayto Park team turned to us two years later to add magic to their guest experience in the queue line – which can reach peak waiting times of up to 90 minutes. 3. DRAYTON MANOR RESORT

THEMED RETAIL STORE

We worked closely with Drayton Manor Park and Thomas & Friends IP owners, Mattel, to create a kid-centric, immersive retail guest experience. This project also featured an interactive themed video experience, which we created using Green Screen (GSX) technology. The experience featured video content, themed backdrops and interactive elements which when put together, created a fun, interactive experience for young visitors and a unique and personalised souvenir to take home. 4. ROARR! DINOSAUR ADVENTURE

PARK EXPANSION

ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure has revealed its most ambitious and exciting expansion plan in the park’s history. The full and formal planning application for a new four-acre interactive play-themed parkland within ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure’s existing 85-acre park has been submitted to Broadland District Council, following working with us on the insights, masterplan and design of the project. Read more.

5. ALTON TOWERS

PHOTOGRAPHIC EXPERIENCE

The aim was to create an immersive and engaging photo capture unit allowing guests to have their photo taken in a replica of the CBeebies TV studios on a green screen background with their favourite CBeebies characters. We developed the guest experience and worked with an installation team to define the ideal guest flow. This features talking screens (narrated by CBeebies top presenters) guiding them into the photo studio. The guest can then choose from a selection of six character options, where once chosen they can see themselves immersed into a fun and engaging scene. Read more.
