We're delighted to have worked with the team at York Archaeology to optimise their existing visitor attractions, as well as set a new strategy for their future experiences. Following various site visits, we undertook a rigorous insights review to identify commercial opportunities and enhancements to the guest experience.

We were approached by York Archaeology to re-evaluate and reposition their attractions portfolio across the city of York, UK. Their portfolio, which features the Jorvik Viking Centre, Barley Hall, Dig and other smaller attractions, have been welcoming millions of visitors since the 1980s. 


With the ambition of enhancing the guest experience and creating commercially-sustainable attractions, we undertook guest experience audits and highlighted areas for improvement, as well as key market and industry trends that the attractions could benefit from in the future. These suggestions were compiled into a creative strategy and presented to the board, to help drive the development of the attractions mix across the next 10 years.
