Katapult create new Wallace & Gromit experiences

We're pleased to have worked in partnership with Aardman to create two unique and immersive experiences featuring their beloved characters, Wallace & Gromit.


Launched in Shanghai as part of IAAPA Asia Expo, Katapult has developed the Wallace & Gromit Dining Experience—a captivating cafe concept that captures the humor, stories, and intricate detail of the IP that fans love.


The Wallace & Gromit Dining Experience

The dining experience offers more than just food. Guests can immerse themselves in the whimsical world of Wallace and Gromit. This cafe captures the playful essence of the beloved characters.


In addition to a delightful menu, the decor is charming and cozy, resembling scenes from the films. Families can enjoy a meal together while being surrounded by the humor and creativity of Aardman's universe.


A Unique Experience


Every corner of the dining location tells a story. Whether it’s the cheese-themed dishes or the interaction with characters, it provides an unforgettable experience.


This concept is perfect for existing fans and newcomers alike. Its detailed design sets the stage for a heartwarming experience that resonates with all ages.


Wallace & Gromit's Shop-N-Go Store

An experiential retail store has also been launched at IAAPA Asia, where guests can browse and buy exclusive merchandise from across the Aardman range. The Wallace & Gromit's Shop-N-Go Store features memorable moments and a museum of memories from both new and classic feature-length films.


Unique Merchandise


Within the store, visitors can find a unique selection of toys, clothing, and collectibles. Aardman fans will love discovering exclusive items they can't find anywhere else.


This store isn’t just a place to shop; it’s a place to create memories. The combination of shopping and nostalgia ensures a delightful experience for every visitor.


These concepts are market-ready and flexible in design to meet the demands of local audiences, operators, investors, and spatial availability. Both the restaurant and retail experience form part of the larger World of Aardman Attraction concept.


World of Aardman

The World of Aardman is a hands-on, fun visitor attraction concept that aims to empower creative talent in every guest. It is suitable for pre-existing retail mall units and indoor destinations.


The BAFTA award-winning studio’s most popular characters, including Shaun the Sheep, Morph, and Wallace & Gromit, will be experienced by guests in this 1,000 sq.m+ attraction—capable of achieving 250,000 visitors per year.


Engaging Activities


At the World of Aardman, visitors will participate in a variety of engaging activities. They will have the opportunity to interact with beloved characters, participate in creative workshops, and experience innovative displays.

This attraction provides entertainment for families and individuals of all ages. It encourages creativity and imagination while paying homage to Aardman's rich portfolio.


The designs for both the dining experience and store are adaptable. They cater to the needs of various audiences and spaces while maintaining connectivity to the charm of Aardman's characters.
