As we celebrate our 20th birthday, we only saw it fit to shine a light on our current team of themed attraction specialists who have clocked up over 150 combined years’ experience in the industry. We’re a varied and versatile crowd, who like getting our teeth into exciting projects. Scroll down and get to know our team just a little bit more…

Dawn Foote

Dawn Foote​ is a Co-founder of Katapult and our CEO. Awarded the Creative Industries Leader award, she has oodles of experience in guest destinations, the cultural sector and strategic collaborations. She has worked on a number of boards of cultural organisations over the years and is currently on the advisory board for Experience UK. She has worked on everything from International projects, with Atlantis The Palm in Dubai to the development and global roll-out of activations with The LEGO Group and Merlin Entertainments.

Phil Higgins

Phil Higgins​ is also a Co-founder and and our CCO. Phil provides us with creative vision, technology road mapping and strategic partnerships. He travels worldwide to lead pitches and deliver projects. He is currently working on multiple large scale projects with Cartoon Network and other global clients. Phil is also currently on the board for BALPPA (British Association of Leisure Parks Piers and Attractions).

Kelly Herrick

Kelly Herrick​ is our seasoned Creative Strategist. Kelly drives our strategic explorations, facilitating research, discovery days, and strategic goal setting with our clients. She is also our narrative development guru! You will often find her at the latest conference, physical and virtual, getting the inside track or sharing learnings with other industry professionals.

Jonathan Bonner

Jonathan Bonner is an experienced project manager and producer (and self-confessed theme park geek) who has delivered a number of exciting themed entertainment design and build projects. To date, he has worked on projects for clients including Walt Disney Imagineering, Merlin Entertainments, Europa Park, Tayto Park, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Hamleys and more. Jonathan is also a past board member of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).

Andy Gilmore

Andy Gilmore​ is a super-experienced Guest Experience Designer with an impressive background in projects like LEGOLAND Discovery Centres, Thomas Land, SEA LIFE, Dragons & Dinosaurs and CBeebies. Andy is always looking for that spark that ignites a new idea. He is a visual storyteller, bringing imagination to life.

Robbie Jones

Robbie Jones is our Insights Analyst Lead, providing data-driven audience and market trends, to assist the design team in creating and delivering world-class experiences. As an experienced copywriter, Robbie is also our chief content creator – helping shape the narrative of the guest experience and tell stories with the panache and magic they deserve. His copywriting for London Dungeons, SEA LIFE and Madame Tussauds are personal highlights.

Martin Enright

Martin Enright is our lead concept artist and designer with great experience across a wide range of design disciplines. His visions bring immersive, awe-inspiring concepts to fruition at some of the world’s leading attractions. Specialising in theming and brand design for the likes of LEGO, Warner Bros., Kerzner, Al Hokair, Merlin Entertainments and Cartoon Network, he’s always looking to push boundaries and create innovative encounters that bring joy to guests and notoriety to clients.

Andy Charlton

Andy Charlton is Katapult’s 3D Design Lead. He has spent over 15 years in architectural and automotive studios creating 3D computer visualisations. Andy likes to stay at the forefront of technology developments and uses all his experience and skills to communicate great guest experience ideas to clients through 3D visualisation. Andy’s dedication and passion provides the WOW factor for our clients, simply by putting on a headset.

Sarah-Anne Forteith

Sarah-Anne Forteith is our Concept Artist and Designer and proud Scot! With Katapult Sarah-Anne has worked with Cartoon Network, Merlin, Adventure Leisure, and was the creative lead on a Derbyshire Wildlife Trust project. Sarah-Anne is a creative to the core, when she’s not at work you’ll find her illustrating, researching, blogging and baking. (Fun fact) Before becoming a designer she was a cake designer.

Rhianna McGonigal

Rhianna McGonigal is one of our Project Producers. Her past experience of brand management in the retail sector is now used in experience-led retail projects within Katapult. Rhianna works with a variety of clients including Adventure Leisure, Portmagee Whisky and Merlin Entertainments. With all sorts of projects and deadlines coming in daily Rhianna has super sharp organisational skills. Rumour has it she uses the KonMari method on her spreadsheets…  

Adam Booth

Adam Booth is our Project Producer – Themed Entertainment. With many year’s industry experience working with world-renowned brands, IPs and operators, Adam knows how to get the job done. Before Katapult Adam worked for Simworx where he oversaw the development of the RoboCoaster product portfolio (AGV Dark ride & RCX robotic ride). Whilst at Merlin Entertainments he worked on CBeebies Land and Smiler at Alton Towers, Shrek’s Adventure London and Derren Brown’s Ghost Train at Thorpe Park Resort.

Fiona Barnes

Fiona Barnes is our Finance Manager. She is the holder of all our financial records. Cash flow, invoices, all the elements that make up the financial side of the business, Fiona makes sure they’re up to date and accurate. Fiona’s financial experience spans a lifetime, she has worked in bookkeeping and management accounting for all manner of large, medium and small companies.
