PROJECT PRODUCER

We have an exciting opportunity for a project producer to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the themed entertainment industry and is an experienced project producer who can make it happen, delivering projects from concept through to opening.


You will be a great collaborator, creative, pragmatic, with great attention to detail,
happy in a spreadsheet, as well as directing on site and creatively problem solving. You will be working on ensuring the effective delivery of international projects which involves bringing together various partners and being the guardian to ensure the vision is delivered. There will be international travel as part of the role for project site visits, client sessions and attending industry expos. The projects you will work on will range from fast turnaround activations through to full resorts, family entertainment centres, pop-up experiences and fixed installations at venues/attractions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Project management (budget, schedule, deliverables)

  • Be a key contact for clients and vendors

  • Manage project meetings and internal workshops

  • Book and negotiate resources

  • Project administration (notes, filing, reporting

JOB SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS
(WHAT YOU WILL DO)

  • Create moodboards and design briefs.

  • Assemble presentation decks, concept packs, and design packs.

  • Concept, sketch, develop, art direct, pitch and execute big-thinking ideas alongside the Creative Director.

  • Contribute ideas and work as part of an integrated, multi-disciplinary design team.

  • Be organised, practise good file keeping,  provide clear notes and feedback.

  • Stay on top of your professional development and emerging themed entertainment technologies and trends, using them to further develop unique creative concepts.

  • Effectively communicate ideas both internally, and with clients, listen to feedback and iterate effective creative changes.

  • Be a brand guardian for the IPs and brands that trust us to partner and collaborate with them.

  • There will be a requirement to travel for attending project meetings and on site art direction.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years working in themed entertainment

  • Highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets

  • Previous work on international projects

  • Comfortable with budgeting and cost tracking in multiple currencies

  • Experience delivering projects across concept, schematic and design
    development

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to express and
    communicate ideas well

  • Experience working with production vendors such as ride manufacturers,
    fabricators, AV integrators, lighting designers, etc.

  • Comfortable handling CAD design and construction information such as AutoCAD
    dwgs, Revit models, and BIM

  • Able to mark up (redline) and manage design and construction documents to
    provide clear feedback
