In 2012 we developed a new brand for Picsolve and executed this across a wide range of applications, including b2b & b2c websites and branding & signage for all UK and international office locations. After conducting initial research in the form of workshops with key internal stakeholders, we developed a comprehensive Brand Framework which in turn informed the development of a new brand identity and design style.
Brand Guidelines were also developed to provide clear instructions on usage and execution and to ensure consistency across all brand materials including internal & external building signage.
As part of the brand style, we created the ‘Picsolve World’ graphic device, which brings to life the range of experiences that Picsolve help to create, capture and share.
Global Office Rebrand
We liaised with the relocation project team and conducted site visits at both the Picsolve HQ in Derby UK, the London office and the Florida USA office to ensure brand consistency. We managed and liaised with the appointed interiors contractor and suppliers on the production of internal/ external signage and wayfinding which included hanging signs, self adhesive vinyl meeting room signs, UV prints of the new brand onto clear vinyl (for application to glass panels of meeting rooms) as well as signage for reception, main entrance and branded external flags.
Responsive Website Development
Having developed the brand framework for Picsolve including a revised proposition and look and feel, we were then tasked with incorporating the new design style onto their website.
Rather than simply updating their current website, we developed a new responsive website optimised for mobile and tablet devices. Whilst ensuring greater accessibility for clients and prospects, the new B2B website reflects the positioning of the business as an award winning technical company and incorporates the new brand look and feel.
The website was built on a Concrete5 content management system enabling the Picsolve marketing and HR teams to update information including the news section and the recruitment page.
Picsolve Academy Training DVD
Working with the Picsolve Academy team we produced a Retail Training video outlining company operational procedures to be used as a global training tool for retail staff. Through extensive script development highlighting ‘brilliant basics and amazing moments’ at Picsolve, we produced a valuable tool for Picsolve staff ensuring they continue to deliver a premium customer experience.
Global Exhibitions & Design Management
We’ve developed numerous evolutions of Picsolve’s exhibition stands for use at global events within the entertainment and attractions industry. The stands have included various digital elements showcasing and demonstrating their digital offering and ride photography and video technology.

As gold sponsors of the IAAPA 2014 event, Picsolve also had a presence on the IAAPA organiser’s stand where they set up a green screen photo opportunity to showcase their GSX technology and capabilities.
Katapult designed the photo overlays in the style of IAAPA’s in-house industry magazine, Funworld, allowing stand visitors to star as the front page story in the magazine.
In 2014 Picsolve launched a new app, enabling park guests to claim and instantly their ride photos on social media.
Katapult initially worked on developing branded assets for the many parks and attractions which the app supports.
We then worked on a marketing campaign with Picsolve to promote the app, titled ‘Share the Fun’. As well as creating imagery to promote the app on Picsolve’s website, social channels and industry insights magazine, we also worked on a ‘Share the Fun’ competition to promote the app at the industry’s biggest trade show, IAAPA 2014.
Picsolve Corporate Brochure
Picsolve needed a high quality brochure to support their B2B trade marketing activities and to use at exhibitions.
Due to their broad range of products and services, the brochure had to be quite detailed, providing an overview of Picsolve’s unique selling points as well as key features and benefits for each service offering.
We produced the 24 page brochure on high quality silk stock with a soft touch laminate cover and included throw out pages from the front and back covers to highlight Picsolve’s key clients and success stories.
Quarterly Magazine Development
In addition to the corporate brochure, Picsolve wanted to support their B2B marketing activity with a quarterly thought leadership publication, titled Through the Lens.
Having been established 20 years in 2014, Picsolve launched the first edition of Through the Lens in line with the IAAPA 2014 exhibition in Orlando.
Katapult worked on the design and creative development of the special 20 years edition which featured infographics, news and interviews. Our team are working on subsequent magazine issues as part of our ongoing partnership with Picsolve.
With a new look brand and refined positioning; Picsolve required a video showreel to showcase their products and services for use online, at pitches and to display at international exhibitions.
Our video and motion graphics team produced a showreel demonstrating the use of Picsolve’s products and services along with their digital proposition, merchandise and the retail and customer experience offer. As part of
the project, we filmed on site at various theme parks and attractions and incorporated motion graphics to bring the brand to life. As Picsolve are a world class image capture technology and services partner, we used a large number
of photographs from their ride photography installations around the world to produce an animated photo montage of their logo.
