This year Katapult are inviting museums, galleries, heritage centres or any kind of destination based charity, local or national to be nominated. If you think a destination could benefit from Katapult’s expertise then submit a nomination. However it must be a registered UK charity.
Work must be carried out in 2020 and be used in a campaign/project during the year. Work will be split over the four quarters, and worked to an achievable deadline. The winning charity will follow Katapult’s briefing template when it comes to developing work.
Katapult will offer the selected charity their design support for a guest experience. The support will not include any work which may need to be outsourced.
Katapult will fund your project with up to £10,000 worth of our expertise, provided that you can fund the implementation and physical installation of the project where required. We will also need a day to day contact and any research you have that might aid the project.
Deadline for nominations is 17th January 2020. The winner will be chosen and announced at the beginning of February 2020.
The winning charity will be the charity Katapult feel they can give the most benefit to. It is not a “lottery prize draw”.
The eventual decision will be made by a panel of judges. The panel of judges will be made up of Katapult team members.
The selected charity must give permission for Katapult to use their name and be willing to participate in promotional activity for communications.
