3D Generalist

Job summary and requirements

We are looking for a 3D Generalist to join the team at an exciting time. You will have high end CGI ability and solid experience. You will have a passion for working on theming and retail projects for brands, investigating and researching interaction, trends and new creative methods.

Experience designing and managing within a diverse range of retail and leisure clients; with an understanding of pilot brands, established brands and the consumer market.

Working on multiple projects, sticking to schedules and meeting deadlines.

  • Report to: 3D Design Lead
  • Location: Derby
Key accountabilities
  • Receiving and completing briefs from initial client ideas through to production, including delegating and briefing the team.
  • Concept creation and brainstorming.
  • Construction of efficient 3D architectural models, visuals and rendering.
  • Visualisations and theming for entertainment and retail brands.
  • Strong technical skills using 3DS Max preferably and experience with either Vray or Corona Render. Any additional knowledge or experience with Unreal Engine and Real-time VR in general, would be advantageous.
  • Shows a strong interest in the CGI visualisation industry and wants to improve workflows and try new software and systems.
  • Handling management responsibilities, i.e. freelancers, briefing and point of contact between teams.
