3D DESIGNER (FREELANCE)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Freelance 3D Designer to support our team of creators for a new project. Our work ranges from tight turnaround design briefs to full turnkey attractions and experiences.

Location: HQ Derby, UK, with flexible & remote working.

JOB SUMMARY & REQUIREMENTS
(WHAT YOU WILL DO)
-
Use 3D software to bring concepts to life!
-
Produce 3D concept renderings
-
Create theming layouts and elevations as part of design packages
-
Model spaces and assets in 3D to support design intent and 3D BIM coordination
-
Assist the Katapult project team in creating Schematic Design, Detailed Design, and Issue for Tender packages
-
Contribute ideas and work as part of an integrated design team.

Be organised and practise good file keeping
-
Effectively communicate ideas internally, listen to feedback and implement effective changes.
REQUIREMENTS
-
2+ years of experience working in 3D modelling for themed entertainment, architecture, or similar field.

Highly proficient in 3D spatial design using creative software such as Revit, Rhino, Blender, SketchUp, 3DS Max or Unreal Engine.

Strong communicator; verbally, written, and visual.

Able to work in Revit.

Background in architecture, theatrical set design, or show set design.

Experience in creating technical-style drawing packages and sheet sets.

Ability to work in real-time 3D such as Unreal Engine.

Passionate about finding efficient workflows and ways to work smarter.
